Our process begins with a dialogue and includes the following services:
Conceptual Development
- Work with the client and design team to review the project and establish primary objectives, budgetary guidelines, scope of services, and timeline.
- Outline art locations on architectural plans and elevations.
- Present art recommendations for the guestrooms and model room.
Design Development
- Participate in model room review.
- Establish a selection committee to review and approve artwork.
- Identify works of art for all public locations.
- Oversee production of art for guestrooms.
- Facilitate the acquisition and/or commissioning process.
- Evaluate lighting plans and determine necessary wall supports or blocking.
Art Production & Framing
- Oversee all frame design and production.
- Resolve security hardware and installation requirements.
- Arrange shipping and insurance.
Storage & Installation
- Ensure proper packing, shipping, and storage in a climate-controlled facility.
- Administer inventory of artwork.
- Provide professional art handlers for installation of artwork on-site.
Collection Documentation
- Prepare maintenance guidelines for artwork.
- Provide insurance values and print documentation.
- Create a binder as a permanent record of the collection.
- Oversee production of printed collection information as a resource.
